Ashton, designed by British designer Freda Bennet, is one of those simple wedding dresses that just captures the heart. Crafted in Linen Mikado, her A-line shaping accentuates the waist but is ultimately super comfy. Elegant curved waistband and modified square neckline keeps the bodice neat and contoured. The back features a lovely, low scoop which falls to an on-trend, beautiful bow.
I imagine Ashton being worn for a country church wedding and on to a garden marquee, styled with a cathedral length veil, pearl hairband and wildflower bouquet.
As with all Freda Bennet dresses, their simplicity gives great scope for customisation, should you want it, such as adding a short puff sleeve or a full-length fitted sleeve, buttons and bows, as well as fabric swaps.
